The Story
From 20th to 25th February, I have been touring for the Zurich Ballett with Anna Karenina (directing C. Spuck) opening the famous Art Festival in Hong Kong. What a pleasure to provide about 20 min of life music, as soloist and with Mezzo Lin Shi for Anna Karenina Ballet with the Zurich Ballett. The 4 solo piano pieces and 3 songs from Rachmaninoff are amazing.
It has been a very exciting and discovering new things to discover in Hong Kong.
With +7hours from our time, the jet lag is obvious for all of us.
I took in charge the only rehearsal we had with the singer and with pianist Luigi Largo.
Next meeting I play the piano on stage for a sound check and first rehearsal with singer, in situ, and then, very fast you are on stage !
It was specially enjoyable the 2nd show. Not only we got a good critic, but to be congratulated at the exit of the theater is touching.
